Regarding an edit that was undone[edit]

I think that this should have stayed. While it could be a coincidence, the resemblance is strong. In addition, the EX form of the Lor and the X version of the Dark Star have the same changes in coloration between normal and advanced, making a coincidence really unlikely, and the edit just said that there was a resemblance, not implying anything beyond that. ---PinkYoshiFan 12:22, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

I see, I just looked at normal form and not the EX/X form, I guess it's more than coincidence then... I guess? You can add it back. Superbound (talk) 12:29, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Split "Lor & Magolor" from Lor Starcutter[edit]

As this happened with the Master Crown's boss battle, I think "Lor & Magolor" should also be split from the Lor Starcutter article under the same jurisdiction. Note the following:

  • There's a lot of images of the boss battle in Another Dimension's article, which is perfect for a decently-sized gallery. Could also include credits pictures.
  • The opening abstract of Lor & Magolor can be expanded upon. Here's what I have:

"Near the end of the Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake, Kirby and his friends have to face off against the Lor Starcutter, whilst riding the dragon Landia. This boss fight is formally called Lor & Magolor, and is fought as the first boss of the level Another Dimension. During the battle, as it is being puppeteered by Magolor, the Lor's appearance changes to a dark purple and pink coloration (or a combination of black, gold and red in Extra Mode and is capable of using its own parts to attack Kirby and his allies."

  • Trivia section can be a bit brief, but all it lists is the similarity in appearance and colors to the Dark Star. I think what's probably notable as a new trivia point is how "Lor EX and Magolor" is named like that in-game, mainly because Magolor has not transformed into his EX form and colorations yet, and that the EX part is more referring to the Lor itself.

What does anyone think about this split? -- KatFL language C.svgKatFL language Y.svgKatFL language O.svgKatFL language N.svg (profile ::: talk) 21:13, 17 October 2023 (UTC)

Supported. There seems to be enough info for a full page, and it'll save some space on the normal Lor page. --Paistrie (talk) 16:14, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
Also support, since I think there's enough to the boss fight to carry its own page, as well as to match the splits made with Traitor Magolor and Master Crown (boss). StarPunch (talk) 03:53, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
Neutral vote. For consistency I guess go for it. ShadowKirby (t/c) a.k.a. your new overlord ShadowMagolor 04:21, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
Agree for consistency's sake. ---PinkYoshiFan 13:40, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
I'm mostly neutral with a small lean to support, more because of the different name (and also how the boss is the Lor and Magolor, not just the Lor). - Gigi (talkedits) 15:49, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
I made a draft of the Lor & Magolor page using a modified version of Cyon's abstract, how does it look? ---PinkYoshiFan 14:29, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

(reset indent) I like the draft! It's a bit small but there isn't really much you need to say about the boss beyond the attack patterns, so it seems fine to me. I'd support using that for the split. StarPunch (talk) 22:27, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

It turns out Cyon already had a draft, his is more fleshed out with the gallery and names in other languages so it would probably be better to use that one. ---PinkYoshiFan 22:45, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
We have an agreement on the split and a draft page, so this just needs to be properly finished. Could someone please do it? Otherwise I will do it myself in a couple days. - Gigi (talkedits) 18:41, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
Draft was moved to mainspace: Lor & Magolor, so case solved. Feel free to edit this page and that one as needed. - Gigi (talkedits) 19:17, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
