Merge Proposal (February 11-17, 2021)[edit]

After doing some research, I've found the closest-to-official Japanese title for Dygclops, the "Drill-shaped Ball" (as noted from the official Japanese Kirby's Adventure Guide), with its Hammer/Sleep color variants divided into "Hammer Ball" and "Sleep Ball" respectively (from the Kirby's Adventure character encyclopedia.)

Now, the main problem is, naming an article "Hammer Ball & Sleep Ball" is not fun, and "Drill-shaped Ball" is probably a very awkward name for the article itself. It just doesn't click well with the rest of the enemy articles.

I realized, with StrawberryChan, that it's better off merging this article with Heavy Mole to evade this problem. Additionally, I'm not sure why a separate article is being created for these enemies. They appear just two times - in Kirby's Adventure and its remake, and also have no official Japanese title that doesn't sound too awkward to use as an article title (the ones that sound awkward are "Hammer Ball & Sleep Ball" or "Drill-shaped Ball").

To me, I personally think it should be merged with Heavy Mole for those reasons. If you wish to support, oppose, or comment on this proposal, please comment below. EleCyon (talk) 04:31, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

Support
  1. Per article creation policy. These enemies aren't interacted with apart from Heavy Mole's boss battle, so they shouldn't have their own page. -- Jellytost (talk) 07:49, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
  2. As they are similar to Kracko's Co-Krackos in when they appear, and those are mentioned within the page, I fully support this merge. Infinite Possibilities (talk) 19:03, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

Discussion[edit]

Before I vote, I'm wondering why did you skip first two steps of dispute policy and just went straight to official votecount? I think less official discussion would've worked here better. Superbound (talk) 11:40, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

This passed a few days ago, and there is no opposition, so I will go ahead and merge this page with Heavy Mole's. -- Jellytost (talk) 05:13, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
