Status as boss[edit]

At the moment, this wiki classifies Gigavolt (and subsequently, Gigavolt II) as mid-bosses, instead of bosses. However, they should be classified as bosses, for a few reasons:

  1. Every boss from Kirby: Triple Deluxe onwards have a unique description when pausing the game during their battle.
  2. The mid-bosses never have pause screen descriptions when fighting them (e.g. Blocky, Miasmoros, Bonkers, etc.)
  3. Gigavolt and C.O.G.S. have pause screen descriptions for their fights.
  4. While C.O.G.S. uses "Vs. The Wicked Company" and "Combat Evaluation Program" for the fights in Story Mode, The Arena and The True Arena, Gigavolt uses "Pink Ball Activate!", while Gigavolt II uses "Pink Ball Revolution." It may not sound like much, but...
  5. Holo Defence API, another boss, also uses "Pink Ball Revolution" for the hologram fights in Access Ark Stage 5, in both Story Mode and Meta Knightmare Returns.
  6. Finally, every single boss in Kirby: Planet Robobot uses the "mid-boss defeated" sound effect once their health bar either is lower than half and/or is completely empty. Yes..."every single boss," not just the mid-bosses.

Now, what do you guys think? Should Gigavolt (and to an extent, Gigavolt II) be classified as mid-bosses or should they be classified as bosses? – Owencrazyboy17 (talk) 16:42, 18 June 2019 (UTC)

Aye, that's better. I've looked over your points, and it does indeed seem that Gigavolt should count as a boss. I'll go ahead and make the necessary changes to the various articles. --Fubaka (talk) 21:30, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
