At the Super Smash Bros. Melee section it is mentioned that green Kirby was only available during Team Battles. Are you sure about that? I tried it, and there wasn't any problem that prevented me from selecting him.Gomess 512 (talk) 18:06, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

So it is. I have made the necessary change to the page. Thanks for bringing it up. --Fubaka (talk) 04:57, 27 June 2018 (UTC)

Article Deletion, Seperate Articles.[edit]

I personally think thath this article should be deleted. Color are a recurring them involving Kirby, but they're only a minor change to Kirby's physical appearance, so it isn't very important. Plus, most of the sections of this article, void of the Super Smash Bros. series, don't even talk about Kirby changing his color, but instances where there were multiple diferently colored clones of Kirby. I think that it's better to give those Kirbies seperate articles rather than cram them all up into one spaces talking about more than one topic. This is just my opinion right here, but I also find it quite annoying that the differently colored Kirbies are never reffered to by proper names. The articles tends to say stuff like: "tHe rEd, bLuE, yElLoW, gReEn aNd pInK kIrBiEs lOvE tO eAt sPaGhEtTi aNd gEt nAkEd lIkE mArIo fRoM sMg4" (sorry if this comes out as rude, this is just a joke.).The All Color Multicolor Kirby Fanboy (talk) 07:06, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

I strongly oppose to your proposal. Color in the series appear in multiple games and often are gameplay mechanics (the Spray Paints). This article covers every game where there are multiple colored characters, which isn't like you said "more than one topic". For example, in 64 there are multiple colored Kirbys, but also many recolors of Dedede, Adeleine, and Waddle Dee, so considering for example the colored Kirbys from Air Ride separate entities rather than just recolors would mean that we would need to consider "Blue King Dedede", "Orange Adeleine" and "Pink Waddle Dee" different characters and make pages for them. Arguably, the only time Kirby recolors were canon to a mainline game to begin with was Amazing Mirror, but since they don't do more than serve as gameplay purposes, they don't really need separate articles. Finally, making a page for every Kirby recolor would just inflate the article count for no reason, as they don't have anything unique other than their different colors compared to Kirby; they aren't even exactly characters to begin with (who is to say that the blue Kirby from Air Ride is the same one from Fighters 2 for example?). You are welcome to elaborate more on your proposal, but just saying this article "isn't very important" is not a good enough reason to delete such a big article. - Gigi (talkedits) 19:46, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
Alright then. I see your point. I only meant separate articles for the differently colored Kirbies, no one else. And just a small correction, what you said about Kirby & The Amazing Mirror being the only game where Kirby canonically had differently colored clones isn't true. Take Kirby Battle Royale, for example. But what about Shadow Kirby? Shadow Kirby is another alternately colored doppelganger of Kirby and he has his own article. There isn't really anything about him different from Kirby other than his coloration. If we're not going to make different articles for the Kirbies, can we at least refer to them by proper names? Like: "Red Kirby and Blue Kirby are clones of Kirby", not "the red and blue Kirbies are clones of Kirby".The All Color Multicolor Kirby Fanboy (talk) 20:35, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
I said mainline games, and Battle Royale is a spinoff; what I stated was correct. Also, Shadow Kirby is very different from the other Kirby clones: he has an official name, flavor text, is an actual character in multiple games, and even has an origin. The other colored Kirbys just aren't big enough and don't have enough unique information about them to get their own pages, and Kirby (species) covers them enough. - Gigi (talkedits) 20:53, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
Adding onto this, we also have a page for the Kirby Printer that talks about all the Kirby clones in that game, anyway. StarPunch (talk) 22:33, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
