Chaos Elfilis talk page[edit]

Suggestion to list both the internal names and standard names for Chaos Elfilis's second form. Suggested by: BandedWaddleDee(?) (talk) 18:36, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

What do you mean by "standard" names? - Gigi (talkedits) 18:50, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
Names that would be used for guidebooks, like some of Void's attacks. Some names are shown as internal data, and others are not shown from internal data. BandedWaddleDee(?) (talk) 19:02, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
Well, Void's attacks are Void's attacks. Unless Chaos Elfilis' attacks are named in a guidebook, we right now only have internal data names for its attacks. Even if they are similar to Void's attacks, the attack names used there shouldn't be used for this page because they have completely different names (although comparing the two, it really only is the case for Loud Song/Song Laser from Void vs Diffusion Laser from Chaos Elfilis). - Gigi (talkedits) 19:21, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
This is understandable. Until an official guide book for Forgotten Land comes out, (Lists Chaos Elfilis's attack names) than we will have to use the internal attack names for Chaos Elfilis. BandedWaddleDee(?) (talk) 19:32, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
As long as it's noted that the names of Chaos Elfilis's attacks are conjectural and there's no official source out yet (such as a guide book), it should be fine to use their internal names. Do we have a conjectural name template to use in the meantime or is it good enough to state it in the article's relevant section? Herobrine (talk) 20:33, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
Herobrine, as for now, we should use the internal names. If there are not internal names, than it should be conjectural. No, there is not a conjectural name template. BandedWaddleDee(?) (talk) 20:42, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
We do have a conjectural name template, but in this case specifically, as long as we note that the attack names are conjectural right before we list them, it should be fine. - Gigi (talkedits) 21:31, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

Hello, may I ask why Blazar Cutter is spelled 'Blazer Cutter'? It seems to be specifically named after a Blazar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blazar) and stuff like Japanese to English dictionaries also seem to say that ブレーザー is supposed to be 'Blazar'. Just curious as to why the English community think it should be spelled the other way and do not know where else to ask this. --98.122.196.156 17:03, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

Hi, so after the edit came in and was reverted, we talked about it on the Discord, and decided that "Blazar" was likely the more correct way to render it. The change has already been made to the page, so no worries. --Samwell (talk) 18:04, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
