Suplex is an ability primarily obtained by absorbing Bugzzy after the mid-boss fights in some games. It allows Kirby to perform one of several throwing attacks, as listed below.
Kirby can also obtain the Suplex ability through Copy Essence Deluxes. With the Suplex ability equipped, Kirby can create Bugzzy as a helper. With this ability Kirby gets darker skin and a blue headband (similar to the Fighter ability).
Suplex returns in Kirby Star Allies, where it is once again obtained from Bugzzy. Like Fighter, Suplex can be used to perform Friend Throw, making it one of the few abilities which shares a Friend Ability with another.

Trivia
- Suplex and Plasma were the only 3-D-debuting returning abilities which did not receive any new official artwork in Kirby Star Allies. The official website reuses their Kirby Super Star Ultra artwork.
