Star Lavadom is a highly volcanic world, serving as the eleventh stage of Far-Flung Starlight Heroes in Kirby Star Allies. The main hazards of this stage are falling volcanic meteors which break the floor away. This is the last stage in the game with a Big Switch – pressing it unlocks Extra Planet γ. Completing this stage unlocks Sizzlai Moon.

OverviewEdit

The stage begins on a path with shifting floors revealing and hiding lava sections. At the end of this path, a set of meteors fall.

In the next area, more meteors fall which break parts of the path away. At the end, these meteors can be relied on to clear the way to a round-trip door.

The following path is a relatively calm one above pits of lava.

From there, the Star Allies will have to battle an ambush of enemies in the midst of a meteor storm, finishing with spicy hot Chef Kawasaki.

The last area has Kirby and his friends riding a series of floors that slide in on top of each-other while more meteors rain down. A ladder will come into view at the top which leads to one more meteor shower that reveals the stage exit.

Rare Picture Piece GuideEdit

Some things are more important than potentially getting flattened by a boulder from the sky.

In the last area, the rare picture piece can be spotted traveling along one of the floors moving in. Kirby will need to grab it before it gets enclosed, but also watch out for the meteor falling in that direction.

Big Switch GuideEdit

Uncovering a hidden path.

Along the road, a wall Stake can be found in a cranny over a lava pit. To hit it, Curling will be needed. This reveals a round-trip door which leads to this switch.

TriviaEdit

  • Star Lavadom is the only one of the main Far-Flung Starlight Heroes stages that isn't a planet or a moon. The Japanese name uses the term "new star" (shinsei), suggesting that the star's volcanic climate and raining meteors are due to being recently formed.
