Sparky is an enemy that has appeared in several games of the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Adventure. It is a drop-shaped life form, usually green or turquoise in color, with a pair of oval, black eyes and two orbs on stalks, which resembled eyes in its original artwork and which it uses to produce electricity to hurt Kirby. In all its appearances, it contains the Spark ability.

Kirby's Adventure

Sparkies made their first appearance in Kirby's Adventure. Where they hops around, after a while, they use electricity to form a electric barrier around them to shock Kirby. They're the only enemy to give the Spark ability in this game. Sparkies comes in several colors depending on the level, blue, orange, green, etc.

Kirby's Dream Land 2

Sparkies reapearred in Kirby's Dream Land 2 as uncommon enemies, it attacks the same way it did in Kirby's Adventure. Interestingly enough, the american boxart for Kirby's Dream Land 2 used Sparky's Kirby's Adventure artwork. They continue to give Kirby the Spark ability.

Kirby's Dream Land 3

Sparkies also reappeared in Kirby's Dream Land 3 as rare enemies. In this game, they continue using their electricity to form a barrier to shock Kirby. It gives the Spark ability like in the previous games.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land

Sparky made its first 3D debut in this game, and provided the Spark ability as usual. Sparky would then go on to appear in subsequent games, Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Kirby: Planet Robobot.
