Blast off, Space Ranger! Fire laser beams from your trusty laser gun. If a fully charged shot hits an enemy, they'll be caught in a flurry of sparks and take extra damage!
— Figure description segment from Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Space Ranger is an Evolved Copy Ability based on Ranger that appears in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Kirby now wears a cyan astronaut helmet with a cartoonish antenna sticking out the top, and wields a ray gun with the ability to shoot laser beams. If fully charged, Kirby will instead shoot a giant blast of energy, similar to Plasma's fully-charged wave attacks.

The blueprint for Space Ranger can be found in the stage Conquer the Inferno Road, by shooting a Target Switch at the very end of the stage. Space Ranger is required to play the Treasure Road stage Shoot and Scoot! Conveyor Targets.

Move Button execution Description
Shot B Kirby fires a laser shot from his ray gun. When this attack hits a wall, it leaves a small crackle of electricity which can damage enemies.
Charged Shot Hold B for a short time and release Kirby fires a larger, more powerful laser shot. When this attack hits a wall, it leaves a crackle of electricity which can damage enemies.
Super Charged Shot Hold B for a longer time and release Kirby fires an even larger and even more powerful laser shot. When this attack hits a wall, it leaves a large crackle of electricity which can damage enemies.
Black Hole Charged Shot Hold B for an even longer time and release Kirby fires an even larger and even more powerful laser shot that carries enemies along with it. When this attack hits a wall or boss, or moves too far, it forms a black hole-like sphere which deals major damage. As long as the black hole sphere is on the field, Kirby's charging time is doubled, however.
Rapid Fire Energy B in midair while moving Kirby fires a multitude of short-range balls of energy in an upwards arc, starting below him. Each ball explodes into a crackle of electricity which damages enemies and launches them.
Counter Shot B after dodging an attack Kirby fires three laser shots at once from his ray gun towards the enemy. This can be used up to three times immediately after dodging.
