Slash and Slice! Sword Trial (Sword Treasure for short) is a stage in Treasure Road, found in Everbay Coast. This stage tasks Kirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use of Sword, battling enemies in waves. The stage is unlocked after completing Abandoned Beach with all its Waddle Dees rescued. It is marked by one star of difficulty and has a stage time of three and a half minutes (three minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute.

Stage details

This stage is fairly straightforward, featuring platforms with three distinct waves of enemies. Kirby will need to clear each one out one at a time, with the last one being a battle against Wild Edge. After this, Kirby can collect his Rare Stone in peace.

Tips

The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:

  • Sword Spin is an effective technique against groups of enemies, particularly the Bronto Burts that close in on Kirby.
  • Buffahorn cannot be stopped by normal attacks when it is charging, so Kirby should get out of the way first.
  • If Kirby hits Wild Edge from behind while their shield is up, they will be stunned and take extra damage. Kirby should defeat Wild Edge after dazing them to defeat them without having to go into the second phase.
