The Skull Key is an item which can be found in Kirby Mass Attack. It is a key with a special bone aesthetic to it. If one of the Kirbys picks it up, they will all be sent to an arena where the Skull Gang will attack them. One of the Skullys has a Treasure Chest, which the Skull Key will fit into. The Kirbys will need to defeat that Skully to get its chest and unlock it, ending the battle. Otherwise, the Skullys will vanish at dawn, taking the chest with them.

While holding the Skull Key, Kirby can be commanded as usual, but if he takes damage or is captured, he will drop the key, causing it to shatter.
