"Rush on the Railway Coaster" is the stage theme for Egg Engines - Stage 3 from Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. It was composed by Jun Ishikawa.[1]
Composition[edit]
"Rush on the Railway Coaster" is an energetic track, rushing at a fast 170 BPM in the key of A minor. The theme is constantly underlined by fast percussion, with tambourines, snare hits and conga drums pushing the track forward. It starts off with a powerful lead synth solo, before the rest of the instruments quickly join in. The characteristic lead synth plays all throughout the track, jumping to F-sharp minor nearing the end of the phrases. The second section has the lead synth slow down a bit, playing more spread-out notes in a melodic minor progression before jumping into the third section, which closely resembles the first. The fourth section is analogous to the second, with a few differences. It's twice as long, and mostly resides at a lower pitch in now harmonic A minor's basic functions before jumping back up to the tonic just before the song loops.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land / Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]
In its debut appearance, the theme plays throughout all of Egg Engines - Stage 3. It can be found as track 59 in the Kirby's Return to Dream Land Sound Test and as track 108 in the Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe Jukebox.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]
In Kirby: Triple Deluxe, "Rush on the Railway Coaster" is reused in Wild World - Stage 7 EX, specifically in the rooms taking place inside the golden temple. It can be found as Track 077 in the Jukebox.
