Chapter 5 of Revenge of Meta Knight is the fifth of seven chapters in this game-mode from Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra. In this stage, Kirby invades the left wing of the ship, and causes severe damage to it, and then battles and defeats Heavy Lobster near the right wing, damaging that as well.

Intro cutsceneEdit

In the opening scene, the Halberd takes its first severe blow, as the Combo Cannon - along with the front deck of the ship - are destroyed. Kirby flies off toward the left wing of the ship to deal more damage there.

OverviewEdit

The timer is reset to 7000 as Kirby lands on the left wing of the ship. The path forward is pocked with bottomless pits and enemies, but a Warp Star can be found to the right.

The Warp Star takes Kirby to the leftmost flank of the ship, where wind currents will push him forward. Mr. Frosty ambushes him at the end of this path. From there, another Warp Star will take Kirby to the next area, on the right wing.

An intermediate cutscene shows Kirby moving from one side of the Halberd to the other as the left wing bursts into flame.

The timer is reset to 5000 as a hole appears in the hull of the ship. Kirby jumps in to find himself in the maintenance ducts. Along the way, a side chamber can be accessed which leads to the armory, full of different Copy Essences.

In the next room, Kirby has to avoid Heavy Lobster as it chases him down in an auto-scrolling section. After a while, Kirby can then engage the beast in a static setting. Defeating it destroys the right wing, and leads on to the next chapter.

DialogueEdit

Intermittently, the Halberd crew can be heard by the player through dialogue boxes which pop up as Kirby makes his way through the stage. The following table lists off their dialogue in chronological order:

The Japanese dialogue instead says "lower the power of the right wing".

After chasing Kirby through the ducts of the Halberd, Heavy Lobster hops up to a higher area, crashing through a pile of crates. At this point, it can be attacked by Kirby. Heavy Lobster battles by making large leaps, charging forward, and shooting various objects out of its claws, including mini robots, cones of fire, and a living blob creature which hops forward. Kirby can inhale the blob to gain the Paint ability, and then use the ability to blind Heavy Lobster, preventing it from seeing where Kirby is for the rest of the fight. However, doing this is not required to defeat this boss.
