Random Copy Essence

Random Copy Essence is an item that appears in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. It resembles a Copy Essence or a Bubbled essence from Kirby: Squeak Squad, though without a pedestal or other external feature besides the bubble itself. It can be acquired by earning rewards in the Stamp Rally in Merry Magoland then talking to Souvenir Shop Waddle Dee, and is used as one of the game's Souvenir items. The item can be used any time during a stage by holding the X button to make it appear above Kirby's head. Once it appears, it will fall slowly until it touches Kirby or hits the ground.
As its name implies, the Random Copy Essence will give Kirby a "random" Copy Ability if he touches or inhales it. However, unlike the Mix, the Random Copy Essence cycles through its ability selection more slowly, becoming even slower if left out in the open for a while. As such, it is much easier to time it if the player wants a specific ability from the item.
