Pteran is an enemy from Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. They are found within the Ripple Field area, along with Shiver Star. They are also very similar to the enemy Cerulean. If inhaled, it will contain no ability.
Game appearances
Kirby's Dream Land 3
The Pteran makes its first appearance in Stage 1 of Ripple Field. There, it swoops into Kirby without warning and try to attack him. If this fails or succeeds, the Pteran will not attack Kirby anymore since the Pteran moved in the opposite direction from Kirby. It can be found in little groups as well.
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
In Kirby 64, Pteran appears in the Shiver Star stages. It acts just about the same as the last game it was in. Again, it will swoop down and try to attack Kirby. No matter if it does or not, it won't do it again since Kirby is in the opposite direction.
