"Pristine Office March" is a stage theme from Kirby: Planet Robobot that plays in some stages of Access Ark. It was composed by Jun Ishikawa.[1]

Composition[edit]

Kirby "marching" through a weird-looking office.

"Pristine Office March" is an electronic song based on electronic dance music that plays at 4/4 and is set in the key of A minor. Its intro consists of a short build-up characteristic of EDM, while also establishing the electronic instruments of the song. The song itself consists of two main sections: the first features a melody reminiscent of King Dedede's Theme, which is repeated multiple times with different instruments, accompanied by a steady rhythmic pattern set by a drum kit and various electronic-like sounds; this section is overall pretty consistent. The second section features a drop, completely changing the rhythm and melody of the song, and using fewer instruments. An electronic synth plays most of the melody of this section, and is occasionally joined by quick and loud sounds of all kinds that sound more like sound effects than musical instruments. They are accompanied by the drum kit, that instead now plays multiple different rhythmic patterns one after another, sometimes even going completely silent for a short period, usually during the sound effect-like parts. At the end, more instruments start to emerge in the background, bringing the song closer to its initial state, but while the melody of the second section persists. The drum kit starts to play a more consistent rhythm, as the melody resolves, the song transitions to its intro and finally loops.
