“ | Poison Croakom is a giant frog covered in icky, sticky poison. The gunk covering its body protects it from all attacks, but a quick splash of water will wash it clean to reveal a beautiful (and vulnerable) blue hide! It must have a great skin-care routine... | ” | — Figure description from Kirby and the Forgotten Land |
Poison Croakom is a large blue-and-yellow anuran creature that makes its first appearance in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It continuously spits globs of poison at Kirby or Bandana Waddle Dee if either of them are nearby. When the poison goop it spits hits the floor, it creates a lingering puddle that can destroy certain items and deal damage to Kirby or enemies in a similar manner to more permanent toxic sludge. Poison Croakom cannot be inhaled, and can only be defeated using the water from Water-Balloon Mouth. It yields six different Food items and two red Star Coins when defeated.
"Croakom" comes from "croak", the sound a frog makes, and "venom", a toxin secreted by animals.
