Old Odyssey is the third level of Kirby: Triple Deluxe and the third of the six lands in the kingdom of Floralia. It has five regular stages, a boss stage, and an EX stage. The level is full of all manner of various terrain, from canyon gulches both high and low, to dense forest caverns, to icy tundras. There are eighteen Sun Stones to collect in this level, with two in Stage EX, three each in Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4, and four in Stage 5. The boss is Kracko.

In DededeTour!

All stages of Old Odyssey are played in one sequence in DededeTour! except for Stage EX and the sections of stages where Hypernova is used. Through this sequence, 5 Keychains can be found.

In addition, many enemies are re-sized - changing their Stamina and also possibly movement speed - and Kracko and the Mid-Bosses are changed to their DX forms.

Finally, in place of Sun Stones, portals can be found in many areas allowing King Dedede to skip parts of the stages. In Old Odyssey, there are 4 of these portals in total.

Trivia

  • This stage can be seen as being similar in design to Nutty Noon from Kirby's Return to Dream Land, as clouds play an important factor, and the level transitions from day to evening to night. Additionally, the music from Nutty Noon is played in the EX stage.
