Nintendo Co., Ltd. (任天堂株式会社, Nintendō Kabushiki gaisha) is a multinational corporation located and based in Kyoto, Japan. They own the rights to the Kirby franchise, which is mostly co-developed with HAL Laboratory. They are also known for the Mario and Pokémon franchises, among others.
Nintendo has released many consoles that the Kirby games are on, starting with the Game Boy handheld or NES home console. Their most recent system is the Nintendo Switch.
