Nature Notch - Secret is an unlockable bonus stage from Nature Notch in Kirby: Squeak Squad. It can be accessed by collecting the secret door key from the large treasure chest in Stage 5.

OverviewEdit

The stage consists of five main areas (with one being split in two). It starts in a field full of thick grass, which can be burned using the powers of a nearby Acchi. However, there is nothing of significance to find in the bush here.

Kirby then finds himself in a wooded labyrinth. He makes his way to a room where Bonkers waits to battle. Defeating him yields the Hammer ability, which can be used to open the way to some side rooms, one of which contains a treasure chest. Up ahead, the path splits in two, leading to two separate ways forward.

The next area is a duo of passages, one lain on top of the other. Which one Kirby ends up in depends on which door he took. On the upper path, an Acchi guards a bush, which can be burned to reveal a Maxim Tomato bubble. On the lower path, a Pengy guards a barrel, which holds an Invincible Candy. From here, the doors on each path will take Kirby to different rooms.

The upper door leads to a grassy path where Kirby can get an Invincible Candy from a bubble and take down an Uja.

The lower door leads to a room consisting of a winding hall. Below, a Gold Waddle Dee can be seen running down the hall. Kirby will have to activate a Switch in time to prevent the reckless creature from jumping into an abyss with its Treasure Chest.

The two separate paths convene in an open wooded area, separated by large diagonal decks. Kirby appears on the lower deck, and above him is a large Treasure Chest, which is immediately set upon by Storo and the Squeaks. Kirby will have to wrestle the chest out of their grasp if he wants it. Should Kirby have to enter the hideout to get it, leaving again will populate this room with a completely different set of enemies. The stage exit is located to the left of the hideout.
