Mr. P. Umpkin is an obscure flying pumpkin-shaped enemy who first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land. He is similar in function to Two Face, showing two different expressions when he switches sides.
Appearance and behaviTemplate:Or
Mr. P. Umpkin takes his name from its jack o' lantern like appearance. He remains dormant on the wall until Kirby passes by, then springs to life with a different face. From then on, he chases Kirby, spiraling around him until it is defeated or hits him. Mr. P. Umpkin moves generally faster than his Main Game counterpart.
Game appearances
Kirby's Dream Land
Mr. P. Umpkin first appears in Kirby's Dream Land. He appears in place of Two Face in Castle Lololo when Extra Game is being played. As such, Mr. P. Umpkin functions much the same as Two Face, though he deals twice as much damage to Kirby when he collides with him. Mr. P. Umpkin is worth 600 points when defeated.
Kirby's Dream Course
Mr. P. Umpkin returns in Kirby's Dream Course. Here, he only uses one face, and looks more similar to a classic jack o' lantern. He hovers in place a medium distance above the ground in various courses, and can be defeated by colliding with him.
In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!
Mr. P. Umpkin retains his design in the pilot episode for Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, and appears in that episode alongside Sweet Stuff and Haboki as an enemy for Kirby to battle. He is only seen briefly, being shocked by Kirby's Spark attack.
