"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the three hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: Rescued after defeating Wild Edge. Cannot be skipped.
- Waddle Dee 2: Found in the last area near the start on the right hand side. Kirby must head up a ladder to get to an area with a dome, then use Dome Mouth to uncover this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 3: Found in the last area near the start on the left hand side. Kirby can head up a ladder to get to an area where a cone is held up by a vine, cut the vine using Sword or Cutter to release the cone, and use Cone Mouth to defeat the Tortorner and uncover this Waddle Dee. Alternatively, Kirby can use the cone found at the end of the spiral stairway with a bit of backtracking.

| "Make 5 tulips bloom"
|
Kirby must find and activate the five tulip Pop Flowers in the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Tulip 1: In the first area atop a tree stump halfway down the path on the left side.
- Tulip 2: Inside a secret passage accessible from inside the gated chamber in the first area.
- Tulip 3: During the first Cone Mouth section, Kirby can find this tulip on a barrel tucked in a left-hand corner shortly before heading down the path to the damaged water pipe.
- Tulip 4: Near Tortorner's position, this tulip can be found to the right beside a tree.
- Tulip 5: While climbing the spiral stairway, this tulip can be found in the nook behind the Buffahorn.

|
Kirby must use Vending Mouth to bust open the damaged blue shutter gate to the right of where the vending machine is located.
|

| "Ride the spewing water up to the balcony"
|
Kirby must bust the pipe found during the first Cone Mouth section and ride the water spout up.
|

| Through the Tunnel
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is hidden inside the "secret room" in the first area, inside a Treasure Chest guarded by four Awoofies.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second area near the end, behind a wall of barrier blocks. To open these, Kirby can follow the path pointed out by the Lantern Switch nearby to climb up some footholds and press a switch on the platform above the barrier.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee is hidden in the third area. To reach him, Kirby must light the fuse at the start and get to the attached cannon, and be shot through some Metal Blocks to get to where the Waddle Dee is.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee is hidden near the end of the fourth area. To reach him, Kirby must use a set of stairs to get to a fuse cannon and light the fuse to use it. Kirby needs to keep the stairs out of the way of the way of the fuse spark before moving them into place.

| "Find the secret room"
|
Kirby must enter a hidden side room. This room can be found in the first area by using Dome Mouth to reveal a switch that opens up a hole in the wall to the left when pressed.
|
|

| "Light 4 Lantern Switches"
|
Kirby must find and light all four Lantern Switches using the Fire ability. Their locations are as follows:
- Lantern 1: Found in the first area, just inside the tunnel entrance.
- Lantern 2: Found in the second area, just to the left shortly after the start.
- Lantern 3: Found in the second area, off to the right near the gate containing a capsule.
- Lantern 4: Found in the second area, near the end on a post orbited by three Gordos.

| "Remove the wanted poster"
|
Kirby must find and remove the Beast Pack's "wanted poster" of him. This can be found in the fourth area on the wall, and Stairs Mouth can be used to reach it.

| Rocky Rollin' Road
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is hidden behind some barrier blocks in a cliffside which can be removed by shooting the Target Switch at the end of the first path of boulders.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is found in the side room, accessible by shooting the Target Switch on the building side. Kirby needs to shoot all five Target Switches in the room before they dip under the fence to make a treasure chest appear which contains this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be made to appear if Kirby reaches the bottom of the giant boulder escape section and hits the switch on a barrel at the edge of the fragile floor before the giant boulder smashes it.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee is hidden inside a building, which has a fragile wall that can be broken by ramming it using Car Mouth.

| "Find the side road while going uphill"
|
Kirby must enter a hidden side passage. This can be found in the second area by finding a gap in the wall to the right while running up the slope with the boulders rolling down it.
|
|
|
| "Eat snacks off 3 tree stumps"
|
Kirby must find and eat all three food items sitting on tree stumps. Their locations are as follows:
- Snack 1: Can be found near the start just after encountering the first Bernards.
- Snack 2: Can be found at the bend towards the first set of boulders.
- Snack 3: Can be found near the Blade Knight just before the giant boulder section. Kirby needs to activate a shimmering area to make it appear.

| "Drive without falling off the edge"
|
This is awarded if Kirby reached the end of the stage having never fallen into a bottomless pit while using Car Mouth.

| A Trip to Alivel Mall
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found near the end of the first hall, up where the Poppy Bros. Jr.s are raining down bombs. He is located in the lower-right portion of this area, guarded by a Gordo.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in a treasure chest in the third room, if Kirby took the correct route to get there. Kirby needs to head down the path marked by the hamburger sign in the second room.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the fourth area, shortly after defeating Wild Frosty, in the spot with the four conveyor belts moving around a spike pit. Kirby needs to use the Ice ability to cool down some burning logs in the upper-left corner and then hit a switch behind them to open some barrier blocks. This reveals the caged Waddle Dee, who is ferried back and forth across the spike pit until Kirby saves him.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in a treasure chest in the sixth room, if Kirby took the correct route to get there. Kirby needs to head down the path marked by the second shortcake sign all the way back and to the left in the fifth room.

| "Eat 4 Doughnuts"
|
Kirby must find and eat all four Doughnuts. Their locations are as follows:
- Doughnut 1: Can be found in the first area, on a table behind a set of boxes in the way.
- Doughnut 2: Can be found in the fourth area, in the square formation of conveyor belts with the spike pit in the middle. It can be made to appear by touching the glowing area in the lower-right corner.
- Doughnut 3: Can be found in the sixth area after taking the correct path. Touching the glowing area on the empty table toward the left end of the room makes it appear on a table further left.
- Doughnut 4: Can be found in the last area on a table above the gold cage, guarded by a Bernard.

| "Eat an Invincible Candy"
|
Kirby must find and eat the Invincible Candy in the first area of the stage. It can be found off to the right just before the hall with Poppy Bros. Jr.s raining bombs from high up.

| "Navigate the mall without getting lost"
|
This is awarded if Kirby chooses the correct path in both areas where there are false pathways. Hints to find the correct paths can be uncovered by tipping over lockers using Storage Mouth in their respective areas.

| The Brawl at the Mall

"Slip through Gorimondo's legs"
|
Kirby must pass underneath Gorimondo's legs during the battle.

| "Defeat Gorimondo with the Sword ability"
|
Kirby must deal the finishing blow to Gorimondo using the Sword ability or its variants.

Kirby must defeat Gorimondo within 2 minutes.

| Abandoned Beach
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the three hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second area, shortly after defeating Wild Bonkers. To find him, Kirby needs to locate the Glunk in front of a ladder, and use it to find a stake to pound, lowering a wall and revealing this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the side area from the third main area. To find the room in question, Kirby should locate a sleeping Awoofy on the cliffside to the right shortly before the tight waterway with the patrolling Gnawcodiles. From there, he can climb up footholds on the cliff to reach a stake, and pound it to open the passageway. Once inside the room, Kirby needs to race against a timer crow to save the Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the last area, hidden in a room accessible from behind a fragile wall in the cliffside. Kirby can break through this wall using Ring Mouth to propel the boat into it. To get the boat, Kirby needs to head down away from the passageway with the Buffahorn and activate a Windmill Switch to raise the part of the walkway with the boat at the end.

| "Crack open 3 Knock-Knock Nuts"
|
Kirby must find and break all three Knock-Knock Nuts in the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Nut 1: Can be found on the main path in the first area.
- Nut 2: Can be found on the island with the Warp Star on it in the first area.
- Nut 3: Can be found in the last area in the upper-right corner near a whirlpool. Ring-Mouth Kirby on a boat is needed to reach it.

| "Destroy the animal sand sculpture"
|
Kirby must find and destroy the Awoofy sand sculpture. It is located at the end of the second area, just to the right of the door.

| "Complete the sign on the rooftop"
|
After Kirby obtains Ring Mouth, he must stand in the gap in-between the letters that spell "Hotel" in the New World script on the rooftop.

| Concrete Isles
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found in the first half of the first area by collecting all five green star pieces to make the crane haul up a treasure chest containing him.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second half of the first area by collecting all five orange star pieces to make the crane haul up a treasure chest containing him.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found on the secret "isle of treasure" which is located off the main path at the end of the first area, to the right of the Warp Star.
- Waddle Dee 4: To save this Waddle Dee, Kirby needs to dig up the red Warp Star using Drill in the second area, hiding under a glowing star-shaped dirt patch on the main path. From here, he can use Pipe Mouth to crash through a barrier and then collect the last star piece needed to open the gate holding this Waddle Dee in.

| "Greet 3 sea birds"
|
Kirby must find and scare away three sea birds floating on water. Their locations are as follows:
- Bird 1: Can be found near the start of the first area, near the platform where the Squishys can be found.
- Bird 2: Can be found near the middle of the first area, shortly after obtaining the Drill ability, and before the first Gigatzo.
- Bird 3: Can be found at the end of the first area, near the platform with the Warp Star.

| "Make landfall on the isle of treasure"
|
Kirby must find the path leading off to an isolated island. This can be found near the end of the first area, off to the right from where the Warp Star is.
|
|
|
| "Dig up a Maxim Tomato"
|
Using Drill, Kirby must dig up a Maxim Tomato from one of the glowing dirt patches. This patch can be found near the end of the second area, on the walkway bombarded by Gigatzo fire.
|
|
|
| Scale the Cement Summit
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found in the first area by taking a left near the top of the tower. He can be found behind a set of lockers that can be removed using Storage Mouth.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found by hitting a switch on the path after defeating Fleurina. Kirby will need to quickly make his way up to the Waddle Dee before the timer crow's timer expires.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in a side room hidden in the second area, to the left from the path that leads up to the arch. In this room, Kirby needs to quickly hit three switches in a spike pit (ideally using Tornado) to open the gate containing this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee is located in the Arch Mouth flying section. Near the end, Kirby needs to take a right toward a cracked wall and bust through using a Spin Tackle to find this Waddle Dee.

| "Remove 3 wanted posters"
|
Kirby must find and remove the three wanted posters of him in the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Poster 1: Located near the beginning of the first area, to the right after Kirby climbs the first ladder.
- Poster 2: Located near the end of the second area, to the left shortly after the timer crow.
- Poster 3: Located at the end of the stage, to the right from where Kirby lands after using Arch Mouth.

In the side room from the second area, Kirby needs to clear the challenge without hitting any spikes.

| "Freeze Fleurina with an Ice ability"
|
During the battle with Fleurina, Kirby needs to freeze her solid using Ice or one of its variants.

| Fast-Flowing Waterworks
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the five hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found in the first area, near the end of the long flowing channel. Kirby needs to duck into some concrete pipes to save him.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in a side room accessible from the second area by breaking a Bomb Block on the right. In this room, Kirby needs to use Ring Mouth and a boat to get to the Waddle Dee held by a timer crow. To get there in time, he needs to take the correct path through the cracked walls: right, left, then center, and then blast through the Gnawcodiles in the way.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the third area behind a gate that can be opened by weighing down the switch on the left with the second set of stairs.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found behind the third Waddle Dee and another gate, which can be opened by weighing down two switches with the third set of stairs. Kirby needs the Ice ability to access these stairs.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found in the last area above the last whirlpool room. To reach him, Kirby needs to climb up the steps on the right side of the room and hit the switch to make a path.

Kirby must find and eat the three Tins of Fish in the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Tin 1: This tin can be found at the end of the first area by activated a glowing point.
- Tin 2: This tin can be found in the third area by taking the first set of stairs to the ledge with the burning logs on top. Using Ice, Kirby can clear these out and get the tin.
- Tin 3: This tin can be found in the first whirlpool room in the last area, circling the whirlpool itself.

|
Kirby must find and scare away the golden fish. It is located in the third area where the second set of stairs are located.

Kirby must break one of Tropic Woods' roots during the second phase of the fight.

|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is located in the second area, in the spot where all of the Runaway Parade Cars can be seen. Kirby needs to hit a switch on the left to make the cage appear, and then needs to get to it before time runs out.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is located behind a gate in the roller coaster room. Kirby needs to hit the switch near the end of the ride (located on the left side) to open the gate.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee is located in the third main area, near the end. To make his cage appear, Kirby needs to hit the switch on a high platform near one of the spinning platforms.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found by cleaning up the four lower water spouts in the fountain at the end of the stage using Water-Balloon Mouth.

| "Help the lost ducklings find their mama"
|
Kirby must find all five ducklings and lead them back to the mama duck. All five of them can be found in the first area around the rocket statue.
|
|
|
| "Enjoy the view from the top of the rocket"
|
Kirby must stand atop the rocket statue at the start of the stage.
|
|
|
| "Make all the wilted flowers bloom"
|
Kirby must find and water all eight of the wilted flowers using Water-Balloon Mouth. Two sets of these flowers can be found, all within the same area and within close proximity. One of the flowers is hidden behind a platform that shifts downward when the mud on it is cleaned up.

| Circuit Speedway
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is awarded to Kirby if he completes the first race within 25 seconds.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is located in a hidden side room from the second area. Kirby needs to hit a switch using Bomb Bowl to open the gate keeping the Waddle Dee in.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the third area, in a room whose tiny entranceway is hidden by foliage.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee is awarded to Kirby if he completes the second race within 50 seconds.

| "Reach the first race's goal within 20 seconds"
|
Kirby must complete the first race in under 20 seconds.
|
|
|
| "Defeat Wild Edge using an Invincible Candy"
|
Kirby must find the Invincible Candy and use it to defeat Wild Edge. The Invincible Candy can be found in a Treasure Chest accessible from a ladder behind where the second hidden Waddle Dee is being kept.
|
|
|
| "Boost through the cardboard shortcuts"
|
In the second race, Kirby needs to find and drive through both shortcuts, barricaded by cardboard boxes. The second one requires jumping over a bottomless pit to reach.
|

|
| Invasion at the House of Horrors
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the first area. Just after the last set of alien boards, Kirby should find a path leading off to the right which leads to a space where a Captured Roulette can be found. Kirby needs to hit it when it displays a Waddle Dee to save him. Otherwise, he gets a Gordo.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the side room accessible from the second area. To reach this room, Kirby needs to find it by locating the path in the dark near the upper-left corner that goes over the Ghost Gordo there. Once inside, Kirby needs to use the Cutter ability to hit a Captured Roulette when it shows a Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second area, near the end. Once Kirby reaches the platform at the end of the main path, he needs to spot the side passage going off to the right and follow it to an area where a Solar Panel Switch needs to be lit in-between two Ghost Gordos. Doing this allows Kirby to save the Waddle Dee behind the gate.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in the last area, on the long moving platform ride near the end. He is located behind the last set of alien boards that pop up on the left hand side. Kirby may need to use Vending Mouth to access him.

| "Clear without touching any Ghost Gordos"
|
Kirby must complete the stage without ever having been damaged by a Ghost Gordo.
|
|
This objective does not mark as complete until after the stage is cleared.
|
| "Eat 3 of the ghosts' hidden snacks"
|
Kirby must find and eat the hidden candy items throughout the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Snack 1: The first snack is a chocolate bar, found in the first area behind some glowing hexagonal decorations.
- Snack 2: The second snack is a doughnut, found in the upper left corner at the end of the second area, right before discarding Light-Bulb Mouth.
- Snack 3: The third snack is a shortcake slice, which can be found in the third area, hiding behind a set of hexagonal blocks in the room where Kirby is ambushed by lots of ghosts.

| "Destroy 13 aliens by using Vending Mouth"
|
Kirby must acquire Vending Mouth near the end of the stage and use it to destroy 13 Surprise Alien Boards.
|

| The Wondaria Dream Parade
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the five hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the first area, just to the left of where the Runaway Parade Cars turn into their exit point, beyond a small spike pit.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the side area accessible from the second main area. Kirby needs to finish a race using Car Mouth in under 5.555 seconds. To make this easier, Kirby can find a switch using Cone Mouth to raise a shortcut from the abyss below.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the second area, perched high atop a pillar. Kirby can reach it by using the Tornado ability from a high place.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found behind a damaged blue shutter in the third area. Kirby needs to use Water-Balloon Mouth to deflect some Runaway Parade Cars into the shutter to break it.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found near the end of the stage, in the lower-left corner in a hole at the end of the long path with the Runaway Parade Cars.

| "Help the lost ducklings find their mama"
|
Kirby must find all five ducklings and lead them back to the mama duck. All five of them can be found in the first area on the road patrolled by the Runaway Parade Cars (none of them can be found beyond the mama duck).
|
|
|
| "Remove Elfilin's wanted poster"
|
Kirby must find and remove the Beast Pack's wanted poster of Elfilin. The poster can be found at the end of the second area, on the wall by where the Runaway Parade Cars are patrolling in a square pattern.
|

|
| "Clear without stepping on any mud"
|
Kirby must clear the stage without ever having touched a mud pool.
|

| Danger under the Big Top
|
"Hit high-up Clawroline using Ranger"
|
During the second phase of the fight, Kirby must shoot at and hit Clawroline using Ranger or one of its variants while she is up on one of the towers.

Kirby must defeat Clawroline without ever using his hover.

| Northeast Frost Street
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is located near the end of the first area, behind a blue shutter guarded by two Cororis and isolated from the main path until a Bomb Block is hit to connect it. Vending Mouth is needed to take on these tasks and reach the Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is found in the side area accessible from the second main area. Kirby needs to first obtain the Ranger ability and use it to hit a Target Switch to open the gate. Once inside, Kirby then needs to solve a shooting puzzle involving more switches to free this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the second area. Kirby needs to locate a Bomb Block embedded in the wall on the left side of the last swaying building and open it to find this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee is located in the last area. To reach him, Kirby needs to grab the highest set of stairs to gain Stairs Mouth, then ferry the stairs down one level and to the right to crash through a fragile wall. After defeating the Buffahorn inside, Kirby can position the stairs to get to the Waddle Dee up above.

| "Destroy 4 animal snow sculptures"
|
Kirby must find and destroy the four Awoofy snow sculptures. There locations are as follows:
- Sculpture 1: Can be found in the first area near the start, on the right.
- Sculpture 2: Can be found at the end of the first area, to the right of the Warp Star.
- Sculpture 3: Can be found hidden on a path down from just before the last set of swaying buildings in the second area.
- Sculpture 4: Can be found to the right of where the highest set of stairs are in the last area.

|
Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is hidden under a floor that can be moved out of the way by hitting the four nails in each corner using Hammer.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is hidden in the side room accessible from the second main area. Kirby needs to grab all five star pieces (one of which can be made to appear by hitting a nail, and another of which is inside a dome) to open the gate.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found near the end of the second main area, inside a treasure chest that can be reached by climbing the ladder guarded by a Balloon-Meister.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found high up near the end of the stage. To reach him, Kirby needs to obtain Cone Mouth then use it to break open a cracked surface in the ice in the area where the crates move in and out. From there, he needs to bust open a water pipe and ride the water up to get on top of the crates. From here, he can reach the Waddle Dee by following the movement of the crates outward.

Kirby must find and stand on top of the two trains in the stage. Both of them can be found in the first main area along the freezing water path. The first one is on the right side, and the second is further down on the left side.

Kirby must find and head through two hidden side passages in the stage. Both of these passages are found in the second main area. The first can be uncovered by hitting three nails on a wall to make the wall shift away. The second can be found at the bend further in, past a small street barrier and off to the right.

|
Kirby must get inside one of the shipping containers. This can be found by heading right from where the fourth Waddle Dee is rescued, along the narrow walkway.

"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the five hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is hidden behind a fragile wall in the first area. Kirby needs to locate and use a pipe for Pipe Mouth in order to crash in and save the Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is found underneath a walkway in the second area. To get in, Kirby needs to crash through a fragile wall using Boating-Ring Mouth.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the second area, behind some ice blocks in the wall around the corner. Kirby needs Fire or one of its variants to get in, which he can access via the Hot Heads up above.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in one of the holes along the path in the third area. Lighting the first Lantern Switch will lead Kirby to it.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found in the third area. To reach him, Kirby needs to locate the "secret underground room" and then solve the fuse puzzle in there. The room can be found on the left side of the path, and lighting a Lantern Switch on the way will direct Kirby towards it.

Kirby must locate a hidden grotto in the first area. It can be found just to the left of where the first Waddle Dee is located. To get in, Kirby needs to get a speed boost from something to battle the wind. Needle is the intended ability to use.

| "Enjoy 3 meals at sea"
|
Kirby must find and eat three food items while steering the boat using Ring Mouth. All three can be found floating in the air along the channel.
|
|
|
| "Jump into the secret underground room"
|
Kirby must find and enter the secret room at the bottom of a false bottomless pit in the third area. It can be found on the left side, and lighting a Lantern Switch on the way will direct Kirby towards it.

| The Battle of Blizzard Bridge

"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the five hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found in the first side area. Kirby will need to cut the cone down from the vine, bring it to the lowest floor, and use it to break the floor open.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second side area. Kirby needs to use Tornado to activate the Windmill Switch and then hit the regular switch behind the gate that opens. Then he needs to quickly gain Vending Mouth and waddle along the sinking platform to break the blue shutter.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the third side area. Kirby needs to use Hammer to pound a series of stakes to make the walls on the upper walkway slide back, and then quickly gain Car Mouth and use it to drive over to the Waddle Dee before the timer crow's timer expires.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found down a hole in the bridge right before the battle with Twin Wild Frosty. Kirby needs to hop down there, save him, and then hover back up.
- On the Secret Path, this Waddle Dee can be found by finding the glowing area after defeating Twin Wild Bonkers and following the effect to the next tower.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found in the fourth side area, accessible using the Ice ability. Kirby needs to first freeze the Kabu and then kick it to hit the switch. This will raise a platform which can be used during Pipe Mouth to crash through a breakable wall.

Kirby must find and rescue the three hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is located behind a gate in the first area that can be unlocked by collecting all five star pieces. The star pieces are in the following places:
- Inside a treasure chest guarded by a Sssnacker on the main path.
- Obtained from solving a switch puzzle over some toxic goop on the right side of the area.
- Inside a treasure chest on the main path that is partially buried by sand. Ring Mouth or Tornado is needed to access it.
- Obtained from solving a windmill switch puzzle over toxic goop on the left side of the area.
- Obtained after defeating Fleurina on the rusty ship to the back and right of the area.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is hidden under a cracked floor on the main path in the second area. To get him out of there, Kirby needs to obtain Ring Mouth and then use it to blow out the support for a pillar so it will fall and break the floor open.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee is hidden in a side area accessible from the second main area. To get in, Kirby needs to use Ring Mouth to cause a pillar to fall onto a fragile floor shortly after the second Waddle Dee's location. Once inside the room, Kirby needs to complete an obstacle course involving falling pillars in order to save this Waddle Dee.

Kirby must find and shoot all three Target Switches using Ranger or one of its variants. They can all be found in the first area, and are located in the following spots:
- Target 1: Can be found near the middle of the area, above the path with the Pactos on it.
- Target 2: Can be found off to the right, just before the area with the platforms spinning in the toxic goop.
- Target 3: Can be found to the left, between the area with the Windmill Switches and the falling pillars (it is located behind one of the pillars).

Kirby must find and rescue the five hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found at the secret pool, which is located in the first area, through a passage obscured by foliage behind a Sssnacker.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second area, by finding a ladder up a tall platform in the area with the Poison Croakom.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found by using Dome Mouth to pry off a dome just past where the second Waddle Dee is. From there, Kirby needs to head down the chute and then use Pipe Mouth to clear a jumping challenge.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in the "secret room" accessible from the third main area, by first cleaning up the toxic goo in the way, and then using Drill to get under the fence. In the secret room, Kirby needs to dig up all five star pieces from the passing dirt patches.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found behind the last Poison Croakom guarding the end of the stage.

Kirby must find the secret pool in the first area and then use the Sleep ability there.

Kirby must use Water-Balloon Mouth to defeat two Poison Croakoms. To defeat the second one, he needs to bring the pipe up to the higher floor by finding a switch up there using Drill.

Kirby must dig up all of the glowing dirt patches in the hidden side area using Drill.

This is the only mission objective phrased using progressive aspect.

| Alivel Mall (Staff Side)
|
"Save the hidden Waddle Dees"
|
Kirby must find and rescue the five hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found behind a wall which can be broken by using Ring Mouth to fit into the circular hole. The ring can be found just after the staff side hall where the hole is by breaking open a Bomb Block barrier.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found shortly after the first, behind a wall with a rectangular hole in it. To break open this wall, Kirby needs to head down the hall a bit until he finds a rope platform in the corner. Cutting the rope will take him down to a side room where he can acquire Vending Mouth. While in this form, Kirby can then use a warp pad to return to the main hall and backtrack to the hole, fit in, and break it open.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee is rewarded to Kirby after he defeats Wild Bonkers in the side area.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in a treasure chest partially buried in sand just after the third "staff side" hall. To free this Waddle Dee, Kirby needs to enter the fourth "staff side" room obscured by boxes up ahead and then pound the stake in the wall to knock the clock off the other side, causing it to shatter and turn into a hoop that Kirby can use for Ring Mouth. From here, he can windblast away the sand.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found in a break room underneath the floor with the large hole in it. To reach it, Kirby first needs to bring the Ring Mouth he used to save the previous Waddle Dee over to this area, and fit into the circular hole in the wall guarded by Jabhog. This opens a room where a water pipe can be used for Water-Balloon Mouth. While in this mode, Kirby needs to head back and fit himself into the hole in the floor to break it open.

Kirby must find and eat three different ice cream cones throughout the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Ice cream 1: Can be found after the first "staff side" section, to the left of where Kirby re-enters the main hallway. It is on a table with two Cappies sitting at it.
- Ice cream 2: Can be found in the last "staff side" area, hidden by a stack of boxes.
- Ice cream 3: Can be found in a box near where the final cone in the stage is obtained.

- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second area. To reach him, Kirby needs to find the hidden path behind the second Gigatzo and follow it to a challenge involving a moving platform in the wall.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second area, near the end. After the falling pillars break the stairway, Kirby needs to find a path to the left and locate a Solar Panel Switch, and power it to make a new ramp appear from the abyss below. From here, the Waddle Dee will appear on the ramp.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the third area, along a lower path of breakable blocks which has a Gigatzo firing down it. Kirby can find the cage at the extreme edge of this walkway.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in the hidden side area accessible from the third main area. To reach this room, Kirby needs to take a series of breakable blocks along the cliffside until he reaches an area where he can use Scissor-Lift Mouth to hit a switch and open the gate. Once inside the room, Kirby needs to complete a challenge where he uses Scissor-Lift Mouth to cross a crumbling bridge and then cross another bridge while dodging Copy Essences for the Sleep ability (this obstacle is nullified if Kirby obtained Deep Sleep).
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found near the end of the Arch Mouth flight path. When the giant column falls in Kirby's way, it has two holes in it that he can fly through. Taking the smaller hole on the right will lead to the Waddle Dee.

Kirby must find and remove three of the Beast Pack's wanted posters throughout the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Poster 1: This poster is located in the first area, just to the left of the door into the cave.

- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is located in the first area. Kirby needs to collect all five star pieces along the road, some of which are in danger of singing into lave due to falling lava balls. This done, a treasure chest will appear which contains this Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is located in the second area, and can be found off to the right partway up the path. Kirby will need the Drill ability to get under the fence hemming the Waddle Dee in.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the side area accessible from the third main area. To get in the room, Kirby needs to wait for a series of cliffs to sink down enough to reveal the doorway. Once inside, Kirby needs to quickly collect five star pieces from a sinking platform by digging them up using Drill.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found near the end of the stage. To save him, Kirby needs to use Water-Balloon Mouth to stop the falling lava balls from sinking the ground in front of the fence. From there, Kirby can enter using Drill and rescue this Waddle Dee.

Kirby must find and defeat two Primal Awoofies on watchtowers. Both of them can be found in the first area.

In the last portion of the stage, Kirby needs to use Water-Balloon Mouth to break seven falling lava balls before they crash into the ground and cause chunks of it to sink. To get the first three, Kirby needs to have found the water pipe in the hidden side area.

| Conquer the Inferno Road

|
Kirby must find and rescue the five hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
- Waddle Dee 1: The first Waddle Dee is located in the first area, and is visible from behind a window. To get into the room where the Waddle Dee is, Kirby needs to find a passageway from the next corner up.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second area, inside a building off to the side from the main path. Kirby needs to use Ice to skate across the lava on the left side and then cross a bridge to cool down the fire blocks on the roof of the building.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the hidden side area from the second area. To get in, Kirby needs to skate over to the cracked floor on the left side using ice, then cross the bridge of fire blocks while simultaneously cooling it down. From there, Kirby needs to obtain Cone Mouth and re-cross the bridge, minding the lava ball that falls on the middle. Once back on the left side, Kirby can use Cone Mouth to break open the floor. Once inside the room, Kirby needs to solve a timed puzzle involving several Mouthful Modes to save the Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 4: At the end of the second area, Kirby can find this Waddle Dee down a chute that he needs to fall down into from above.
- Waddle Dee 5: Along the path in the third area, Kirby needs to obtain Ring Mouth and use it on all three Windmill Switches. This will cause an island to rise out of the lava lake ahead, which contains a treasure chest that holds this Waddle Dee.

Kirby must find and eat two "meaty meals" in the stage. Both meals can be found in the first area, with the first being shortly into the main path, and the second being hidden at the top of the tower. To reach this second one, Kirby needs to jump to a catwalk from the ladder before the fight with Wild Frosty.

- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found in the first main area, inside the last crusher. Kirby needs to locate the boxes embedded in the crusher wall on the right side and break in.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second main area. To free him, Kirby needs to collect the five star pieces located around and on top of the crushers.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found in the side area accessible from the second main area. To reach the room, Kirby first needs to reach the end of the second area and locate the Lantern Switch. Once lit, he will be able to head into the room. Once inside, Kirby needs to solve a puzzle involving a fuse and Stairs Mouth to reach the Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in the third main area. To reach him, Kirby needs to obtain Vending Mouth on the second spike-chase hallway, an take it down to the end of the third hallway to use to break a blue shutter.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the stage underneath a fragile floor. Kirby can bust the floor open using Cone Mouth.

In the first area, Kirby needs to find and enter the hidden control room. This can be reached by jumping up on top of the crusher near the end of the hall by taking the hole in the side blocked off by boxes, then finding the entrance on the left wall from there.

Kirby needs to find and consume the three cups of coffee in the stage. Their locations are as follows:
- Coffee 1: Can be found in the first main area, atop some Star Blocks off to the right by a sleeping Primal Awoofy.
- Coffee 2: Can be found in the second main area, atop a Star Block next to a sleeping Primal Awoofy along the conveyor path.
- Coffee 3: Can be found in the third main area, on the top floor just past the hole going down, atop some Star Blocks next to a sleeping Noddy.

- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in a treasure chest to the right of where Sillydillo is fought.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the Pipe Mouth section, if Kirby doesn't jump at the last juncture.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found atop one of the towers that Clawroline uses in her fight (the upper-left one). Kirby can find a ladder on that tower after the fight.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found at the end of the stage. To free him, Kirby needs to have hit all of the switches during the Coaster Mouth section.

- Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee can be found on the platform in the middle of the Scissor-Lift Mouth section in the main hallway.
- Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee can be found in the first detour room, above the first Poison Croakom. Kirby needs to backtrack after obtaining Water-Balloon Mouth and defeat this enemy to get to the Waddle Dee. Collecting this Waddle Dee is required to proceed.
- Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee can be found along the main hallway, at the end of the Vending Mouth/Stairs Mouth section. Kirby needs to bring down the stairs using Vending Mouth and then move them over to the other side to reach the Waddle Dee.
- Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found in the second detour room, above the first Gnawcodile. Kirby needs to backtrack after obtaining Ring Mouth and use it to defeat the Gnawcodile in order to save the Waddle Dee. Collecting this Waddle Dee is required to proceed.
- Waddle Dee 5: This Waddle Dee can be found during the Arch Mouth gliding section. Kirby needs to spin all of the Windmill Switches along the way to make this Waddle Dee appear near the end.

- Poster 2: This poster can be found in the first detour room, in the space where the Rabiroos are bouncing around the Poison Croakom. It is easier to see on the way back out.
- Poster 3: This poster can be found just off the walkway leading to the set of storage cabinets in the way on the main path.

Kirby must defeat Forgo Dedede using any of the following Evolved Copy Abilities: Homing Bomb, Buzz-Saw Cutter, Twin Drill, Dragon Fire, Wild Hammer, Blizzard Ice, Crystal Needle, Space Ranger, Meta Knight Sword, or Storm Tornado. In the Japanese version "second-level or higher" is mentioned, so Masked Hammer and Morpho Knight Sword are also valid.
