This article is about the Waddle Dee who serves King Dedede and appears in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. For Waddle Dees in a general context, see Waddle Dee.
The way our daring king threw me into that elevator after I tripped...and made sure to protect me... I was just in awe! He's usually so carefree, perhaps a teeny-tiny bit lazy... But when it matters most, our leader always does his royal duty. Long live King Dedede!
— Minion Waddle Dee, in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Minion Waddle Dee is a Waddle Dee who acts as King Dedede's loyal servant in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. They first appear as one of the captured Waddle Dees at the end of the stage In the Presence of the King, reuniting with their king after he is defeated by Kirby and regains control from Fecto Forgo. Their reunion is short, however, as Beast Pack members ambush the five, forcing them to escape through an elevator. Minion Waddle Dee ends up tripping while running away, and King Dedede decides to turn back and help them, throwing them into the elevator and fighting off the enemies while the rest escape.

Minion Waddle Dee is later seen again in Waddle Dee Town, serving the king while he relaxes. When first talked to, they thank Kirby for saving Dedede and gives the Masked Hammer blueprint as a gift from the king to him.
