Mega Titan is a blue and silver robot Boss that only appears in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror so far. It guards the Mirror Shard of Carrot Castle and is fought again in Boss Endurance.

Boss Battle

Titan Body

Mega Titan appears in two forms during the battle. In its first form as the full body, it attacks by slamming and punching Kirby with its four detachable arms.

It is impervious to all but three electric element Copy Abilities, those being Beam, Spark, and the electric 'Chain Beam' from U.F.O.. In addition, these Electric abilities do +2 damage on Mega Titan than normal.

The only other way to defeat Mega Titan is to push it into the electricity fields on the left or right walls, either by inhaling one of the Recoil Stars that appear when its fists slam on the ground and spitting it at the robot's body, or by using any other Copy Ability.

Mega Titan has 40 HP in its first form. It takes 10 damage every time it's pushed into the electricity fields on the walls. Therefore, this form can be defeated by pushing it onto the walls 4 times.

Titan Head

After its first form is defeated, the outer shell of Mega Titan breaks. Out of it comes Titan HeadFile:Titan Head.PNG, the controller of the boss.

It flies around shooting missiles as an attack. To attack it, Kirby must either use any Copy Ability, or inhale the missiles and spit them back at it.

Titan Head only has 20 HP and can be easily defeated with 2 Star Bullets which deal 10 damage per shot.

Other Appearances

Mega Titan and several other bosses can be found on the stained glass windows from King Golem's room in Moonlight Mansion.

According to the booklet from Kirby's Dream Collection, Mega Titan was originally titled "Final Guardian" in early development of Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.

Mega Titan makes a cameo appearance as a Keychain in Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

Trivia

  • Mega Titan's immunity to most attacks is similar to the Reactor from Kirby Super Star which can only be defeated by its own reflected lasers.
