As such, continuous attention will be needed to ensure this page remains up to date.
This article is about the Copy Ability, and should not be confused with Robobot Armor.

Mecha is a Copy Ability that will be debuting in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, as an addition to the base game. With this ability, Kirby gains a futuristic helmet with a translucent visor similar to the one for Jet Kirby, and also gains two mechanical fists and two giant jetpacks on his back which are painted blue. He can use this gear to fire lasers at enemies using the packs on his back, punch them up close with his robotic fists, release a fiery burst attack that can light up dark places, target skyborne enemies with Fireball Mortars,[1] or place an electric bomb downwards. When Kirby is dashing, he will hover using the pack instead of running.

The name of the enemy that provides Mecha is unknown, but it appears to be a small humanoid robot.

Trivia

  • The armor Kirby gains when copying Mecha strongly resembles the Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
    • More specifically, however, Mecha Kirby seems to take a lot of moves from Metal General.
