Lovely is an enemy and species of flower first appearing in Kirby Super Star. They have since reappeared in Kirby's Star Stacker and the sequel of the original game, Kirby Super Star Ultra. Additionally, they have frequently appeared in the the anime. If Kirby approaches a Lovely, it will enclose its petals around him, similar to the way a venus fly trap engulfs its prey.

Appearance

Lovely's appearance is similar to a typical taraxacum, but they also appear to have white 'cheeks' (pink in the anime), glowing eyes and are always smiling. Lovelys also have large, thick vines. These are used to capture prey, but additionally serve to prevent them from blowing away in the wind, or to prevent Kirby from inhaling them. They can still be defeated by Kirby's other attacks.
