Keychain LoveLoveStick.png The Love-Love Stick is the Last Battle Ability of Kirby's Dream Land 3. It is required to defeat Dark Matter, and subsequently Zero at the end of the game.

Role in Kirby's Dream Land 3

Kirby and Gooey using the Love-Love Stick against Zero in Template:KDL3.

The Love-Love Stick is wielded in much the same way as the Star Rod from Kirby's Adventure. Kirby can fly quickly about in the air while holding it, and will fire a heart-shaped projectile forward when he swings it. The swing itself can also do damage.

To obtain the Love-Love Stick, Kirby and his Animal Friends must collect every Heart Star in the world, and then defeat King Dedede at the end of the Iceberg area. Done correctly, Kirby can gain access to the Hyper Zone, where the Heart Stars will merge into the Stick, which Kirby then grabs to be whisked away to the final encounter with Dark Matter. In the heart of the beast, Kirby must first use the Love-Love Stick to dispel an incarnation of Dark Matter, then fight its core, a large eyeball-like creature called Zero. Defeating both of these menaces will finally free Pop Star of the dark influence, and restore the planetary rings.

Other appearances

The Love-Love Stick is also wielded by Kirby in the Japan-exclusive SNES version of Kirby's Star Stacker. He uses it to beat his opponent over the head, causing their puzzle board to add another layer of blocks.

In Kirby: Triple Deluxe, the Love-Love Stick appears as a Keychain - one of the unique ones.
