Kirby uses a Launcher in the Cocoa Cave stage.
A Launcher is an object featured in [[Kirby Super Star|Template:KSS KFP]] and its remake, Template:KSSU. It resembles a metal rack which lays on the floor in various places and acts similarly to a Cannon, launching any playable character who comes into contact with it in a given direction, left or right. When a character is standing on a launcher, they will briefly assume their Guard pose before they are propelled forward. As they fly, they will defeat any enemies they come into contact with.
Launchers also appear in The Subspace Emissary from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where they serve the same purpose, although here they do not grant the launched character temporary invincibility.
