Kookler is an enemy taking on the appearance of a dark blue, floating head shaped like a rectangle with rounded corners, which is adorned by two small, yellow, pointy horns growing on top of it, similar to the horns of an oni from Japanese mythology. Its face consists of two big, round eyes that are completely black apart from a tiny white spot inside each, as well as a laughing mouth with a pair of pointed, yellow fangs. Kookler typically flies through the air in oval or triangular patterns, and can be defeated using an inhale or another attack.

Kookler first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land, and has since only appeared in Kirby's Block Ball and in occasional external media.

Game appearancesEdit

Kirby's Dream LandEdit

Kooklers first appear in Kirby's Dream Land, where they are encountered only in Bubbly Clouds and the section of Mt. Dedede devoted to the aforementioned stage. Each individual specimen may possess one of two different movement patterns: it may either fly in a large, oval shape or follow a triangular path. While in motion, all Kooklers continuously change their shape, alternating between flattening themselves vertically and horizontally, depending on the direction they are moving in.

Kooklers are vulnerable to any attacks and harm Kirby on touch. Due to the absence of Copy Abilities in the only game they appear in, no ability can be acquired by inhaling and swallowing them. In the Extra Game, they are replaced by Whiskers.

Kirby's Block BallEdit

Kookler appears as a regular enemy in Kirby's Block Ball, seen patrolling block formations. It is worth 300 points when defeated and drops the Crash item.
