Lvl 8-1 is the first stage of Level 8 in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble.

Overview

The stage begins with a long path. At regular intervals, sliding bumpers move across the path, making safe traversal tricky. From there, Kirby needs to pass a large area where a long rotating bar spins around, then pass one more sliding bumper to reach the gate. The next set of paths involve more sliding bumpers to avoid in various patterns. After passing all of these, Kirby can make one big leap using a combination of Blast Boards and Boost Pads to reach the goal pad.

Extra Game

In the Extra Game, some of the bumpers are arranged in different ways to make them trickier to pass.

Star guide

  • Red Star: Right after crossing the initial sliding bumpers, this star can be obtained on an isolated platform to the left which can be reached by hopping a short gap past the rotating bar.
  • Blue Star: Upon reaching the fifth set of sliding bumpers on the first part of the stage, a Jump Hole can be found to the right behind the bumper which can throw Kirby over to a platform where this star is located.
  • Warp Star: Shortly past the gate, this star can be found on a tiny isolated platform reachable by a Jump Hole past the first set of small round bumpers. This star takes Kirby to a bonus area where Kirby can uncover items from behind breakable walls, but he will have to watch out for the large spinning bar in the middle of the room.
