Lvl 4-4 is the last stage of Level 4 in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble. The boss Orbservor is faced at the end of it, after which Level 5 is unlocked.

Overview

The stage begins in a castle hallway, with the sides of the hall consisting of sand pits. Further up, Kirby will need to hit six switches to make the Blockbots move out of the way, meanwhile avoiding running into the spikes in the walls that come in and out at regular intervals. The path continues through more rooms with Blockbots on patrol and Snippers in the sand. From there, the way forward lies to the left past more wall spikes as Kirby hops over barriers using Jump Holes in order to reach the gate.

From there, Kirby will need to move quickly between Jump Holes to the right and then to the left to stop from rolling into spikes in the tiny rooms he passes through. The path then straightens out, leading more or less straight upward past more spikes, sand pits, and Blockbots, though there are a few side paths to take here and there for extra items. After rolling through one more winding set of spiky halls, Kirby can take a Cloud over to the Warp Star, which will take him to the boss room.

Extra Game

In the Extra Game, Snippers are placed in the room with the switches and at the cloud at the end, there are more patrolling Blockbots, and they move faster.

Boss: Orbservor

Main article: Orbservor

The boss room here consists of a relatively small chamber with spikes along the middle of the walls and sand pits in the corner. The Orbservor fought here is gray in hue, and will move rapidly toward Kirby every time it is hit, which may prove very dangerous for the pink puffball. Orbservor will not dare to tread close to the edges of the room, however. There are a couple Maxim Tomatoes in the upper corners which can help alleviate any pain during this fight. As usual, three hits to the eye will defeat the Orbservor.

Extra Game

In the Extra Game, the brown Orbservor is fought instead of the gray one. Additionally, a Gordo is placed in the middle of the boss room, and an additional line of spikes are added to the bottom wall. The walls around the sand pits are also made shorter, making it easier to fall off the stage.

Star guide

  • Red Star: Shortly after the gate, Kirby can use the temporary invincibility he gets from using the Jump Holes to break down the bar bumper blocking the way to the right. He will need to roll quickly up the hall while he is still invincible to break another smaller bumper concealing a Jump Hole which can grant him access to a short hallway containing this star.
