Level 4-5 is the final stage of Level 4 in Kirby's Blowout Blast. In this stage, Kirby battles the Boss Kracko in order to complete the level.

Layout

Battling the enemy ambush that happens before the boss fight.

The stage is among the simplest in design, consisting only of a large platform with chipped-off corners. Six Score Coins can be gathered at any point during the proceeding battles on this platform. Before the boss fight, Kirby must battle an enemy ambush consisting of Soarars and Kabu.

Enemies

The following enemies can be found in Level 4-5:

Enemies

Boss: Kracko

Main article: Kracko

Kracko is a formidable opponent in this game, and has several different attack methods. The first involves him chasing Kirby down with a continuous lightning strike that leaves a trail of harmful sparks along the ground, which leaves a Recoil Star at the start and end. The second is a charging attack that sends Kracko across the stage. The third involves Kracko firing a volley of beam blasts at Kirby which also leaves a star at the start.

In the second phase, Kracko expands to fill out the sky, and starts sending waves of lightning across the stage while also sending a ligning bolt to chase Kirby that leaves lots of stars as it travels. Kracko's last unique attack is the abilit to conjure a beam bar from the center of the stage, which leaves more stars. Kracko can be defeated with 10 standard Star Bullets.

Tips

The following are tips for how to obtain a Platinum trophy on this stage:

  • During the second phase of Kracko's battle, the fight can be ended very quickly if Kirby manages to eat and spit all of the groups of recoil stars that appear during the big lightning wave attack.

Level 4-5EX is the final stage of Level 4EX. It has the same basic layout as Level 4-5, but features a different array of enemies and score coin positions, as well as slightly different terrain. The main differences in layout are as follows:

  • The main platform is smaller, consisting of a square arena with a split down the middle.
  • The ambush prior to the boss fight consists of different enemies.

Enemies

The following enemies can be found in Level 4-5EX:

Enemies

Boss: Kracko's Revenge

Main article: Kracko

Kracko's Revenge battles very similarly to Kracko, but all his attacks are faster. His beam volley attack is also trickier, and his big lightning wave attack has a new pattern, involving sending lots of lightning bolts down the stage rather than having one chase Kirby. Lastly, his dashes have him spinning around and his beam bar attack involves four bars which rotate in different directions.

Tips

The following are tips for how to obtain a Platinum trophy on this stage:

  • The attacks of Kracko's Revenge are much more difficult to dodge than his main game counterpart. It would be worth taking some time to study the attack patterns here.
  • It is possible to crouch underneath the lightning bar that sweeps across the stage during the second phase.
