King Dedede is the boss of Snow Land in Kirby's (Extra) Epic Yarn.
In Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, Dedede is playable in the Sub-Game 'Dedede Gogogo'.
In Cut-Screens
King Dedede is mainly seen though cut-screens in Dream Land having his Waddle Dees managing his treasure horde. Yin-Yarn starts making the Waddle Dees out of yarn at first, but then they start to take over Patch Land once enough they appear. He tied up the real Waddle Dees and tied up King Dedede himself. When this is all done, Yin-Yarn captures the king with his Magic Sock and forces him to serve him.

King Dedede serves as the boss of Snow Land, and is unlocked after using the Diamond Dust Patch obtained from Frosty Wheel. Completing this stage is required to gain access to Space Land, and obtaining a high bead score is necessary to obtain the Penguin Patch and access Frigid Fjords.
Patch Animation
Upon throwing the patch, a sparkle appears in the air which takes the remaining yarn from the snowman's base and uses it to stitch together an aurora. The remainder of the yarn forms a smaller snowman in a coat, above which the door to King Dedede opens.
Battle
King Dedede appears and the puppet string knocks him down. Then the puppet string gets him get up again. He moves a little bit to get ready for the battle and Kirby and Prince Fluff panics. They have to fight him with the strings. King Dedede uses his hammer to attack them and yarn stars are dropped on the floor. The only way to attack him is to use a Weight attack or throw yarn balls at his face. Once King Dedede has been defeated, Kirby and Prince Fluff can get the next piece of Magic Yarn to go to the next level, Space Land. Also, when Kirby gets enough beads during the king's battle, he might get the Penguin Patch to unlock Frigid Fjords.
