Jukid is a Mid-Boss in Kirby Super Star and its remake. It attacks by throwing punches, grabbing and throwing Kirby, Meta Knight, or a helper; and shooting beams at them, even though it gives Kirby the Suplex ability. Jukid is a (normally) pink blob in a martial artists' outfit. It has blonde hair, large feet, and disembodied hands.

Jukid is fought in many of the games in Kirby Super Star, but not all of them. It is fought in Revenge of Meta Knight, The Great Cave Offensive, Milky Way Wishes, The Arena, Helper to Hero, and Meta Knightmare Ultra.

Jukid has a number of different attacks, as follows (all attack names are conjectural):

Attack Description
Jump Jukid hops either straight up or towards Kirby. creates two Drop Stars in Kirby Super Star Ultra.
Walking Grab Jukid shuffles forward along the ground. If it grabs Kirby, it will slam him to the ground to deal big damage. It can shuffle at two different speeds.
Force Blast Jukid throws out up to three force blasts at a time, similar to those from the Fighter ability. These can be inhaled and spat back.
Reaching Grab Jukid throws out one of its hands. If it grabs Kirby, it will slam him to the ground to deal big damage.

Jukid also appears as an opponent in The Arena and Helper to Hero, as part of "Mid-Boss All-Stars 2". It is not faced in The True Arena.

In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

Jukid makes a tiny cameo appearance as a monster in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! episode Cowardly Creature. It is shown briefly training as part of the "Young Monsters of the Future" program run by monster clowns, attempting to lift a heavy dumbbell.

Trivia

  • Jukid is the only Mid-Boss in Kirby Super Star to never appear in any later Kirby game, not even as a collectable like a Keychain or Sticker.
