Javelin Knight is a hovering robotic member of the mid-boss group Meta-Knights which first appeared in Kirby's Adventure that holds javelins and swings them around. It can be inhaled like any other enemy, but does not give Kirby an ability

Javelin Knight appears to be entirely robotic, with no real limbs to speak of, and only a slit visor that glows red or yellow to pass for a 'face'. It is also the only Meta-Knight capable of hovering, and can also bounce around the place with high and graceful jumps. It will attack either by swinging its javelin around as it bounces, or by shooting it at Kirby.

Kirby's Adventure / Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

Javelin Knight debuts as a member of the Meta-Knights in Kirby's Adventure and its remake, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. It is fought alongside the other group members Axe Knight, Trident Knight, and Mace Knight. It appears more rarely than the other three, but can usually be seen either hopping through the air while spinning a javelin around, or hovering in place and throwing its javelins in an arc toward Kirby. It is not particularly hardy when compared to the other Meta-Knights, and can be defeated easily with an inhale or a Copy Ability attack.

Kirby Super Star / Kirby Super Star Ultra

Javelin Knight re-appears in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra with a similar role to that of its previous outing.

Unlike Axe Knight and Mace Knight, Javelin Knight has no dialogue in Revenge of Meta Knight.

Kirby Mass Attack

In Kirby Mass Attack, Javelin Knight is fought alongside Mace Knight at the end of Stage 4 in the sub-game Strato Patrol EOS.

Javelin Knight also appears in the Kirby Quest sub-game. Similarly to Strato Patrol EOS, it is battled with the rest of the Meta-Knights in Chapter 3.

Kirby: Planet Robobot

Javelin Knight makes a cameo in the Kirby: Planet Robobot sub-game Meta Knightmare Returns. When Meta Knight uses his Meta Knightmares attack, Javelin Knight appears with the rest of the Meta-Knights to defeat all on-screen foes.

Javelin Knight also appears as a sticker, taking its art from Kirby Super Star.

Kirby's Dream Buffet

In Kirby's Dream Buffet, Javelin Knight appears on a Character Treat, depicting its artwork from Kirby Super Star.
