Heavy Knight is a large enemy comparable to other sword-wielding knight enemies such as Blade Knight and Sword Knight. This iron clad warrior debuts in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, and appeared again in [[Kirby: Squeak Squad|Template:KSqS KMoA]]. It can often be found guarding a Mirror Door, Treasure Chest, switch, or just Kirby's access through the area. Swallowing a Heavy Knight requires use of a Super Inhale, and doing so gives Kirby the Sword Copy Ability.

Heavy Knight appears to have Template:Gray armTemplate:Or topped with red and gold trim. Spikes are also located on both of its shoulder pads, along with a large spike on the forehead of its helmet. Although its movements are slow, its sword strikes swoop down and slice backwards in powerful slashes. This combined with its size and high stamina makes it an imposing enemy not to be taken lightly. Heavy Knight is also somewhat resistant to flinching, only being knocked back by powerful strikes such as those from Star Bullets.

Game appearances

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

Heavy Knight made its first appearance in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. It can be found in every major area of the Mirror World, and can often be seen guarding tight passageways.

Template:KSqS KMoA

Heavy Knight returns in [[Kirby: Squeak Squad|Template:KSqS KMoA]], unchanged from its previous appearance. Like before, it appears very often in stages, though rarely appearing more than once in said stages.

When possessed by Ghost Kirby, Heavy Knight can be made to walk (albeit very slowly), jump, and slash with its sword. It can do a three-swipe combo and also do a dashing slash, giving it good versatility, though it is not as agile as Sword Knight when possessed.
