A Heat Phanphan is an enemy that appears only in Kirby Air Ride. Here, Heat Phanphans appear on various courses. They have the ability to fly and they attack Kirby on site. When sucked in, they give Kirby the Fire ability.
Heat Phanphans were about to appear in Kirby Wii as helpers. It is currently unknown if they are just helpers, or if enemy versions of them appear in the game, since Kirby Wii is currently lacking of information and it could possible be canceled.
Heat Phanphans can bear some resemblance to Phan Phan, due to their name and their elephant-like appearance. However, it has not been confirmed that they are the same or a different species.
