The Robobot ArmTemplate:Or has scanned Meta Knight's ship! It's equipped with the Planet Buster. Capture debris, and press A to fire it!
— Pause screen description

Halberd Mode is the final [[Robobot Armor|Robobot ArmTemplate:Or]] mode, and the Last Battle Ability of Kirby: Planet Robobot. It is the result of fusion between the armTemplate:Or and the battleship Halberd, and possesses all necessary firepower therein.

This marks the first time the player has ever controlled the Halberd in a Kirby game.

Overview

The Halberd Mode appears at the very end of the story mode, after Star Dream announces its plans to eradicate all life in the universe. Meta Knight, freed from the thrall of the Haltmann Works Company, pilots it along with Kirby, who forms the head. They battle Star Dream in Area 7: Mind in the Program and The Arena using this mode.

This mode is also used to battle Star Dream Soul OS at the end of The True Arena.

Moveset

Halberd Mode Moveset
Skill Button Execution Description Base Power
Combo Cannon
B
The Halberd fires a rapid volley from the Combo Cannon which, while weak per shot, can be held to rack up damage.
Shots reflect off shields and unbreakable debris.
4
Capture Inhale
B toward debris
The Halberd turns any destroyed objects (asteroids, robots, etc.) into ammo for the Planet Buster.
This won't work on the segments of the Access Ark during Star Dream's second form.
No
Planet Buster
Capture Inhale, and then A
The Halberd unloads its ammo in one go, dealing a good chunk of damage to Star Dream.
Higher levels of charge deal more damage.
Level 1: 16×8=128
Level 2: 24×12=288
Level 3: 32×16=512
Sail Wing
L/R
The Halberd does a barrel roll that deflects projectiles and provides a small amount of invincible frames.
Sail Wing can also damage Star Dream and destroy certain objects from it, such as missiles and astroids.
The move functions similarly to the barrel roll from the Star Fox series, as it can deflect Star Dream's projectiles in much the same way.
