The Robobot Armor has scanned Meta Knight's ship! It's equipped with the Planet Buster. Capture debris, and press A to fire it!
— In-game quote

Halberd Mode is the final Robobot Armor mode. It is the result of fusion between the armor and the battleship Halberd, and possesses all necessary firepower therein.

Overview

The Halberd Mode appears at the very end of the story mode, after Star Dream announces its plans to eradicate all life in the universe. Meta Knight, freed from the thrall of the Haltmann Works Company, pilots it along with Kirby, who forms the head. They battle Star Dream using this mode.

This mode is also used to battle Star Dream Soul OS at the end of The True Arena.

Trivia

  • This marks the first time the unknown reader has ever controlled the Halberd in a Kirby game.
  • Sail Wing may be a reference to the barrel roll of the Star Fox series, as it can deflect Star Dream's shots.
