The Girl blob[1] is a female counterpart to Gooey, appearing only in the western version of Kirby's Dream Land 2. She is colTemplate:Ored pink and wears a black ribbon to distinguish her from Gooey. There is a 1/8% chance that she will replace Gooey as the friend that Kirby can rescue from a Mid-Boss if he is already with the Animal Friend he would otherwise have obtained. Finding her counts towards 100% Completion of the game.
In the original Japanese version of Kirby's Dream Land 2, the Girl blob's role is filled by Chao, a human girl making a cameo from the Family Computer Disk System game Yūyūki. This character would later appear as one of the Heart Star friends in Kirby's Dream Land 3, where she is seen in the western release as well.
