Gators are enemies from the Kirby series. They appear in Kirby Super Star, Kirby Super Star Ultra and Kirby's Epic Yarn. They are green, alligator-like enemies that like to feed on Kirby's health. In Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra, if a Gator spots Kirby, it jumps on him and attempts to bite him. They bite several times in a row, causing a lot of damage to Kirby.
In Kirby's Epic Yarn, gators return, but they are much larger and do not jump. They rest in the ground, opening and closing their mouths. If Kirby lands on an open mouth, he is damaged. However if he lands on a mouth while it is closed, it can be used as a platform to help him jump higher. Gators can be defeated using Kirby's yarn whip.
Trivia
- They have no arms or legs, yet in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra they have the ability to jump.
