Freezing Fight! Frosty Ice Trial (Frosty Ice Treasure for short) is a stage in Treasure Road, found in Originull Wasteland. This stage tasks Kirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use of Frosty Ice, battling waves of enemies. The stage is unlocked after completing Moonlight Canyon. In order to play this stage, Kirby needs to have acquired the Frosty Ice ability. It is marked by two stars of difficulty and has a stage time of three and a half minutes (three minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute and 30 seconds.
Stage details
This stage consists of three separate fights on three different platforms, each of which involves conveyor belts and the first two of which also feature spike pits. Kirby needs to defeat each wave of enemies using the Frosty Ice ability. while avoiding getting too caught up on the conveyor belts. For the last fight, he has to battle Wild Frosty before he can obtain the Rare Stone at the end.
Tips
The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:
- For the first two battles, the enemies are often placed in a way where Kirby can freeze them and then have them travel down the conveyor belt to hit other enemies. In other cases, Kirby can send some frosty snowmen down the belts to do this, too.
- For the last battle against Wild Frosty, the move that will deal the most damage the quickest is Ice Storm. However, using this is risky, since Kirby is liable to take a lot of hits if he gets too close.
