"Forest/Nature Area" is a music track that first appeared in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. It was composed by either Hironobu Inagaki or Atsuyoshi Isemura.

Game appearances

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

"Forest/Nature Area" makes its debut in this game, heard in most of the areas of Rainbow Route, and can be found as track 4 in the game's sound player.

An alternate variation of the theme plays at the beginning of the game when Kirby and his clones are heading to the Central Circle, where the Dimension Mirror lies. This variation is named 迷宮入り口ステージ (Labyrinth Entrance Stage) on Kirby & The Amazing Mirror Sound Plus and can be found as track 2 in the Sound Player.

Kirby: Squeak Squad

A slightly faster-paced and higher pitched remix of the theme plays in Stage 3. It can be found as track 8 in the game's Sound Room.

Team Kirby Clash Deluxe

A remix of the theme is the second track to play during the medley heard in the normal staff credits.

Kirby Fighters 2

A remix of the theme, along with Mid-Boss Battle, Dark Meta Knight Appears and Dark Meta Knight is associated with Shadow Kirby on floors 25 and 45 of the final chapter of the game's story mode and when fought on Very Hard difficulty in Single-Handed Mode, named 決戦!やんちゃマインドを超えてゆけ (Decisive Battle! Overcome the Naughty Mind) and arranged by Yuki Shimooka.[1] A short rendition of the theme plays when encountering him under both circumstances before battle. Another remix of the theme will play along with the Start Stage theme if the player stays in the Options menu for 86 seconds.

Kirby's Dream Buffet

The original version from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, referred to in-game as Kirby & The Amazing Mirror: Memorial Song 1, can be unlocked as music that has a chance of playing during Races upon reaching a Gourmet Rank of 66.

"Decisive Battle! Overcome the Naughty Mind", referred to in-game as Kirby Fighters 2: Bonus Song 2, is automatically unlocked for potential use in races if the player has save data from Kirby Fighters 2 on their Switch and completes their first Gourmet Grand Prix.

Super Smash Bros. series

The original track from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror is one of the songs available to play on the Halberd stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, it was replaced by a new chiptune/orchestra remix of the theme, which appears as one of the default tracks of the The Great Cave Offensive stage. This arrangement was done by Yasunori Mitsuda, and it includes a section of City Trial: City in its intro.

The Wii U remix also returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can be played on any Kirby stage, Battlefield, Final Destination, and their derivatives, much like any other Kirby track.

Other appearances

The original version of "Forest/Nature Area" was included in two compilation albums: The Very Best of Kirby: 52 Hit Tracks and the Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition Compilation Soundtrack.

In The Sound of Kirby Café, the theme was arranged by Jun Ishikawa, here titled 木漏れ日のティータイム/森・自然エリア (Teatime Under Sunbeams / Forest/Nature Area).

The theme was also performed live in the Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert as part of the Kirby & The Amazing Mirror / Kirby: Squeak Squad Medley, along with "Space Area", "Prism Plains", and "Squeak Squad Appears!".

On the Kirby 30th Anniversary Site, the original version of the theme plays when viewing Kirby number 29 ("Cell Phone").
