Fine Fields - Stage 3 is the third stage of Fine Fields. There are four Sun Stones and 4 Keychains in this stage. The Gold Keychain is one depicting the Triple Star cane.

Overview

The stage begins out in the open fields. In the background, a number of mechanisms can be seen which are conveying boulders made of dirt, then tossing them into the foreground, where they can potentially hit Kirby.

The next area is a foreground-background affair with Sir Kibbles patrolling the area. They will try to hit Kirby with their cutters regardless of their position. Seems like there's something else hidden in this area, however.

The third area has Kirby using 3-D Tilt Missiles to clear obstructions in the background. From there, the door can be found once traveling to the blasting area.

Through the door lies an open area with more boulder-levying mechanisms. Here, there are some bottomless pits, so Kirby should be careful when proceeding.

Kirby then finds himself in a forest area with very tall trees. Here is where the Miracle Fruit appears. From this point, Kirby uses Hypernova to clear out some Pipe Worms in the way. From there, a number of Cannon Towers need to be dealt with to clear the way forward.

In the final room, Kirby finds himself in a peculiar part of the forest. A blue star is hanging from the ceiling to the right. To reach it, Kirby has to pull a block close to it, then stand on top. Inhaling the star causes the entire background to be peeled away, revealing the last Sun Stone and the stage exit.

Sun Stone & Gold Keychain Guide

  • Sun Stone 1 - This stone is buried under several stone blocks, which need to be cleared using the 3-D Tilt Missile.
  • Sun Stone 2 - Through a side door in the second dirt boulder area, a Tilt Fuse Box and cannon can be found. the player will have to tilt the box after Kirby lights the fuse to get the cannon working. Done correctly, the cannon will fire Kirby to the stone's location.
  • Sun Stone 3 - After obtaining Hypernova, Kirby can find a path past the highest Pipe Worm to reach a side door. In this door is a room with a ball and chain, and large blocks to the side. Kirby has to move these blocks into position so he can pull the ball back far enough to completely bust the wall open. Underneath on the other side is a treasure chest containing this stone.
  • Sun Stone 4 - This stone can be found next to the stage exit, after Kirby has inhaled the fake background.
  • Gold Keychain - In the second area, this keychain can be found in the background guarded by a Sir Kibble. To reach that area, Kirby needs to use a 3D Warp Star, then hit a Bomb Block in the floor which was concealed by grass in the foreground.
