Fine Fields - Stage 1 is the first stage of Fine Fields and thus the first stage of Kirby: Triple Deluxe. There are two Sun Stones and 3 Keychains in this stage. The Gold Keychain is one depicting the Star Rod. Being the first stage, this is where tutorial signs can be found. This stage is also the one that introduces the Hypernova ability.

Overview

The stage begins with Kirby out on the Dreamstalk, high in the clouds. No enemies can be found here, and the path leads directly to a Warp Star which will take Kirby to the Fine Fields island proper (after he breaks the fourth wall).

Once Kirby lands on the island, he finds himself in a floral zone with rolling hills patched with different colors in the background. Tutorial signs appear here which will teach the player how to use Kirby's basic moves, such as Inhaling, sliding and hovering. Further in, Kirby can utilize some of the basic Copy Abilities to cut through his foes.

In the next area, Kirby will be able to make use of the new 3D Warp Star to travel to lands in the background. Here, he might find a Keychain or two.

From here, Kirby will encounter the Miracle Fruit. Touching it gives him the Hypernova ability, which he will keep for the rest of the stage. Using this ability, Kirby can perform a massive inhale which can suck in numerous enemies and other objects at once. He can also do this while moving back and forth, but he cannot do it while jumping or falling. This is used to clear some obstructions in the way, then eventually reach a separate chamber containing the Mowlee Bros.. Using Hypernova, Kirby has to defeat these guys to reveal the stage exit.

Sun Stone & Gold Keychain Guide

  • Sun Stone 1 - After obtaining Hypernova, this stone will appear from underneath the tree that Kirby eats in a cutscene. Kirby has to collect it to move forward.
  • Sun Stone 2 - After heading through the door past the first stone, Kirby can find this stone inside a large stone block on an alcove. Kirby cannot reach it normally, so he will have to move another block into position, then use Hypernova from that vantage point to drop the block and bust it open.
  • Gold Keychain - Kirby encounters an iron ball and chain hanging from a ceiling. Using Hypernova, Kirby can pull it back to give it some momentum. Pulling it back until it shines golden will allow the ball to completely destroy the wall, instead of knocking it over. The Keychain can be reached on the other side if done correctly.
