Festival Dance is a special Friend Ability present in Kirby Star Allies which allows Festival Kirby to dance with his Friends as backup. Activating this ability with friends nearby involves them in the dance. This allows the attack to deal significantly more damage than Festival Kirby on his own, with the power scaling upward with each additional friend involved.

Festival Dance is also present in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, though without the formal Friend Ability designation.

Damage

In Kirby Star Allies, Festival deals 180 damage on its own (for reference, a regular Star Bullet deals 52 damage). With Festival Dance active, this base damage is increased by 10, and then an additional 10 damage is done for every friend in the group, for up to 30 more points total. As such, a fully powered Festival Dance with three friends deals 220 damage.

This basic damage formula calculation is also done for the Festival Dance present in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. This time, the Dance Solo attack begins with 150 damage (for reference, a regular Star Bullet deals 52 damage). Thanks to the game decreasing player attack power the more players join, this effectively adds 10 more points of damage per player, with a fully powered Festival Dance with three additional players dealing 180 damage.
