Fairy-Crystal (name based on Kanji 妖晶) is a special ability that is obtained without inhaling which is only available in the final boss fight of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It enables Kirby and Ribbon to fly around in a full 3-D space while shooting Crystal Shards in order to defeat 0². Once the fight begins, Kirby automatically obtains the power, and is unable to lose it during the ensuing battle. As opposed to other abilities where his physical form changes, his appearance stays the same with the exception of Ribbon being paired with him.
