Also known as Fairy Wings-Crystal Gun, Ribbon's Crystal Gun is an ability that is obtained without inhaling. It's only available in the final boss fight of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It enables Kirby and Ribbon to fly around the screen while shooting Crystal Shards in order to defeat Zero Two. Once the fight begins, Kirby automatically obtains the power, and is unable to lose it during the ensuing battle. As opposed to other abilities where his physical form changes, his appearance stays the same with the exception of Ribbon being attached to him. Due to the two heroes having their back to the camera, one cannot see their expressions.
In Kirby Star Allies, Adeleine can also use this with her Hover instead of using her Brush Slash when she is being played as.
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
This ability debuted and only appeared in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, being obtained when Kirby collects every Crystal Shard in the game. After defeating Miracle Matter, Kirby will gain access to Dark Star and will fight Zero Two here with this ability.
Trivia
- This ability is reminiscent of many other similar abilities that feature either at or near the end of many main-series Kirby games in a similar shooter vain, the most prominent example being the Star Rod ability used to battle Nightmare in Kirby's Adventure/Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.
