Egg Engines - Stage 1 (simply called Stage 1 or 6-1 in-game) is the first stage of Egg Engines in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake—Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. There are three Energy Spheres in this stage.

OverviewEdit

Mecha Kirby takes flight along the perilous broken-down path through the mechanical wastes.

The stage begins with Kirby out in the mechanical wastes. The path continues to the right along an eerie walkway past a number of Halcandle Dees and firing Volttzos. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, there are a lot of Armoroids here as well. Patrolling Flamers and Elecs can also be found near a Fuse Cannon which leads to an optional side area. A number of Bowbys guard the path forward.

Kirby continues along the rusted path past a number of crumbling bridges. Along the way, a number of Sleep Copy Essences appear, which Kirby would do well to avoid.

The next area has Kirby firing from a series of Cannons past lethal clamping machines. Kirby will need to time his firings well. At the end of this path, a Sparky can be found.

The following area has numerous Volttzos firing in turn. Kirby can use the Spark ability here to make the path slightly less dangerous.

The following hallway has an Invincible Candy, which Kirby can use to rush through this area. Along the way, a round-trip door can be accessed for a side chamber which requires a cutting ability to solve.

The last area takes place in a factory interior, where a bunch of Bomb Machines can be seen. Here, Kirby can obtain the Monster Flame ability to proceed. After busting a bunch of these machines, Kirby will find an extra large one at the top. Destroying this machine causes a rift to appear.

Another Dimension riftEdit

In the proceeding challenge, Kirby will need to progress to the left past a large number of conveyor belts. Along the way, a number of Bomb Blocks will need to be broken using emerging Wapods and Mopoos while dodging Gordos. At the end of the path, Kirby will need to do battle with an icy Sphere Doomer to clear this challenge. From here, Kirby can reach the stage exit just to the left of where the rift appeared.

Energy Sphere guideEdit

  • In the cannon area, Kirby has to deliberately slam into one of the clamper machines to access a round-trip door. Through the door is a similar challenge which yields the first sphere.
  • The last two spheres can be obtained from the Sphere Doomer at the end of the rift.

Differences between difficulties (Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe)Edit

In Extra Mode, there are more Volttzos present in the background across the first two areas. The Maxim Tomato at the end of the fifth area is replaced with a normal food item. In the last area, there are a few extra Armor Waddle Dee present. Across all areas, most regular food items have been removed and replaced with Point Stars.
