Dusk Dunes is the last stage (the second extra stage) of Hot Land in Kirby's (Extra) Epic Yarn, unlocked by using the Candle Patch earned by completing Temper Temple. This area is essentially a harder version of the Off-Roader section of Pyramid Sands taking place in a night-time scenario.
Patch Animation
After throwing the patch, a candle appears which lights a fuse going into a box. Once the fuse burns out, fireworks shoot from the box, clearing the clouds above away. The clouds are then replaced by a gloomy haze as the door to Dusk Dunes opens.
Stage
The entirety of this stage makes use of the Off-Roader transformation. The entire course is a race against several Truck Monsters on a series of dunes covered in tapestries. There are numerous places where Kirby will need to make jumps and grab boosts to safely rush forward. If he manages to take 1st place, Kirby will be given a large amount of beads at the end of the track.
